Beyond Limits began in 2016 when Colby Hempel and myself, Dave Smith, were working together at Best Buy. It didn’t take long for us to realize we shared the same passion for cars and the automotive lifestyle. As our friendship grew, so did the idea of creating something bigger than just another car club.

In 2017, that vision became a reality with the creation of Beyond Limits. From the very beginning, we agreed that we didn’t want to be like every other club. We wanted to build a close-knit group made up of genuine enthusiasts who truly respected the culture, the community. We carefully selected members and brought together close friends who shared the same mindset and passion.

By 2019, we decided to step up and give back to the community by hosting events for enthusiasts of all backgrounds. Today, Beyond Limits hosts 3–5 public events each year focused on celebrating real car culture, bringing enthusiasts together, and helping preserve the passion that makes the automotive community special.

Over the past nine years, we’ve faced plenty of challenges. From navigating the COVID era, to losing friendships along the way. Through it all, Beyond Limits has continued to push forward. Through the highs and lows. We remain dedicated to growing, improving, and being the best club and community we can be.
